Man charged in harassment of AHS employee

Following an investigation by the Calgary Police Service and in consultation with the Alberta Crown Prosecution Service, a man has been charged in relation to the harassment of an Alberta Health Services employee.

Between April 24, 2021, and May 22, 2021, it is alleged the man engaged in the harassment of the employee by way of threatening conduct directed at the victim in person, on social media and online.

As a result, Kevin J. JOHNSTON, 49, has been charged with one count of criminal harassment. Mr. JOHNSTON remains in custody on other matters and will next appear in court on Monday, July 12, 2021.
