Identity of sexual assault suspect sought

Police are seeking assistance from the public to identify a man believed to be responsible for two sexual assaults that occurred in Central Memorial Park.

Around 2:30 p.m., on Friday, March 7, 2025, a woman was walking her dog through Central Memorial Park, located at 12 Avenue and Fourth Street S.W., when a man approached her and asked to pet her dog. He then proceeded to allegedly aggressively touch her without consent. The victim was able to push the man away and leave the area. As she left, she reportedly saw him approach another woman walking a large, white dog in the park and proceed to touch her without consent. The second woman has not yet come forward and investigators are looking to speak with her.
