Dozens of charges laid in stolen property investigation

Five men and one woman are facing 37 charges collectively in relation to a stolen property investigation where police recovered four stolen vehicles and seized approximately 194 grams of various drugs.

In October 2025, police received reports of suspicious activity including suspected drug trafficking in the 200 block of Woodridge Drive S.W.

Over the next three months, between Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025, and Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, police conducted a complex investigation that included the recovery and seizure of multiple stolen vehicles.

The investigation also led to the seizure of:

  • 172.4 grams of fentanyl with an approximate street value of $17,240
  • 20.6 grams of methamphetamine with an approximate street value of $412

As a result, six individuals were arrested and charged.

“With the help of patrol members across various districts, as well as our Tactical, Canine and HAWCS teams, we were able to successfully apprehend multiple people who are believed to be responsible for various drug trafficking and stolen property related crimes,” says Inspector Scott Neilson of the Calgary Police Service. “We were able to return the stolen vehicles to the rightful owners and hold people accountable for their actions. We strongly encourage Calgarians to report suspicious behaviour so that police can take necessary steps to ensure the safety of the community.”
