Deceased woman believed to be Stefanie HODGSON

The Calgary Police Service and RCMP have located a body in Kananaskis that is believed to be missing person Stefanie HODGSON. The cause and manner of death have not yet been determined and an autopsy is scheduled for the morning of Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019.

Stefanie was last known to be at Cross Iron Mills Mall on Friday, Oct. 18, 2019, and was subsequently reported missing on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019. Her vehicle was located by the RCMP in Kananaskis late on Tuesday evening, and a deceased woman was located nearby the vehicle earlier today.

The investigation is ongoing and no further information will be provided until the completion of the autopsy.
