CPS investigating body found in rural area

The Calgary Police Service can confirm a body was found in a rural area north of Airdrie, today, Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020. Due to the close proximity to Calgary city limits, CPS is on scene and working with the RCMP in order to confirm if this is connected to an ongoing investigation.

A search earlier today of Elliston Park is related to this incident.

The identity will be confirmed pending autopsy. No further details are available today.
