Couple arrested, facing drug charges

We have arrested a couple and charged them with several drug offences.

In September of 2025, officers identified a man they believed was selling illegal drugs.

We launched an investigation and over the next three months, observed the suspect engaging in behaviour consistent with drug trafficking.

On Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, police executed a search warrant on a home in the 2300 block of 25 Avenue N.W..

As a result of that search, we seized:

·        307 grams of cocaine (estimated street value of $30,000)

·        $38,899.41 in cash

·        160 tablets (substance unknown)

·        Packaging material

·        Digital scales

·        Money-counting machine

·        Multiple cellular phones

Two people are now facing charges.

Jamike NWOFOR, 39, of Calgary is charged with:

·        One count of trafficking cocaine

·        One count of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking

·        One count of possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000

Brittany NWOFOR, 36, of Calgary is charged with:

·        One count of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking

·        One count of possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000
