City services: Family Day 2023
We're adjusting our hours of operation for Family Day on Monday, Feb. 20, 2023
Getting around
Calgary Transit
On Monday, Feb. 20 we will be operating buses, CTrains and On Demand on a Sunday level of service. Over the Family Day long weekend, we will be adjusting our service hours. Customers can visit calgarytransit.com for our holiday hours, and use our trip planner to see when their bus is running.
Parking
No payment is required for on-street parking on Family Day, Monday, Feb. 20. Holiday rates will be in effect at select Calgary Parking Authority parkades and surface lots. Regular rates will be in effect at Calgary Zoo, TELUS Spark and Heritage Park.
The Calgary Parking Authority Contact Centre and Municipal Impound Lot will also be closed on Feb. 20, visit calgaryparking.com for more information.

Facility hours and closures
All Calgary Recreation facilities will be closed on Monday, Feb. 20 except for:
- Southland Leisure Centre and Village Square Leisure which will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Free public skating, which will be held from 1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. at Ernie Starr Arena, Frank McCool Arena, Optimist/George Blundun Arenas and Shouldice Arena.
