City Services: Easter Weekend 2018
We're adjusting our hours of operation for March 30 to April 2, 2018. Here’s a list of what you need to know:
Getting around
Calgary Transit
Calgary Transit will provide a Sunday level of service on March 30 (Good Friday) and regular weekend service both Saturday and Sunday. Please check the schedules page to find out when your bus is running, download the app or follow Calgary Transit on Twitter. Regular weekday service resumes on Monday.
Parking
On-street parking is free on March 30 (Good Friday) and April 1 (Easter Sunday) and holiday rates will be charged at select Calgary Parking Authority parkades and select surface lots.
Things to do
Free family swim
Join us for free public swimming on April 1 (Easter Sunday) from 1-2:30 p.m. and 3-4:30 p.m. at the following locations:
- Acadia Aquatic & Fitness Centre (9009 Fairmount Dr. S.E.)
- Killarney Aquatic & Recreation Centre (1919 29 St. S.W.)
- Renfrew Aquatic & Recreation Centre (810 13 Ave. N.E.)
- Sir Winston Churchill Aquatic & Recreation Centre (1520 Northmount Dr. N.W.)
Leisure centres
- Village Square Leisure Centre (2623 56 St. N.E.) is open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on March 30 and April 1 (Good Friday and Easter Sunday).
- Southland Leisure Centre (2000 Southland Dr. S.W.) is open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on March 30 (Good Friday) and closed April 1 (Easter Sunday).

Facility closures
All City of Calgary administrative buildings, including City Hall, will be closed from March 30 to April 1.
The following facilities will be closed from March 30 to April 1.
- All Athletic Parks (weather)
- All Golf Courses (weather)
- North Mount Pleasant and Wildflower Arts Centres
The following facilities are closed on Good Friday (March 30) and Easter Sunday (April 1)
- Beltline Aquatic & Fitness Centre
- Bob Bahan Aquatic & Fitness Centre
- Canyon Meadows Aquatic & Fitness Centre
- Foothills Aquatic Centre
- Glenmore Aquatic Centre
- Inglewood Aquatic Centre
- Shouldice Aquatic Centre
- Thornhill Aquatic & Fitness Centre
- All Arenas (with the exception of Southland Leisure Centre and Village Square Leisure Centre Arena #1 on March 30 and Village Square Leisure Centre Arena #2 on April 1).
