City of Calgary suspends Street Sweeping operations for Wednesday, April 20, 2022

CALGARY - The City is announcing the suspension of street sweeping operations for today, Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Heavy snowfall over the past 24 hours required crews to quickly respond, reverting to snow and ice operations. Streets sweeping scheduled for today will be rescheduled towards the end of the program. We encourage citizens to sign up for street sweeping notifications at Calgary.ca/sweep.

For streets scheduled today, updated schedule information will be posted within 48 hours.

We’d also like to remind citizens to drive to winter conditions today. Warm weather is expected to help clearing operations today.
