City of Calgary Statement – Fatal Dog Attack

CALGARY - The City of Calgary recognizes this is a tragic outcome for all parties involved and sends its deepest sympathies and condolences to the victim, witnesses, family, and friends.

As part of our own due diligence, we will be conducting a thorough investigation and review regarding this incident. We welcome the recent announcement from the Province of Alberta that there will an independent review of this incident and are committed to supporting that process to our fullest ability.
