City of Calgary responds to unintentional wastewater leak in Bow River

City of Calgary crews identified a significant sewage release into the Bow River near the Bonnybrook Wastewater Treatment Plant. While there are strong indications the release has been contained, crews remain on scene and are actively monitoring and investigating the matter.  

The City will hold a media availability to update Calgarians.  

What: Sewage release near Bonnybrook Wastewater Treatment Plant 

When: March 29, at 1:30 p.m. 

Where: Power Reception Room in Historic City Hall, 800 Macleod Tr. S.E.
