City of Calgary to re-open holes 13, 14 and 15 at Maple Ridge golf course on May 17

On Wednesday, May 17 The City will re-open holes 13, 14 and 15, of the 18-hole golf course at Maple Ridge. Since the fall of 2022 the three-hole loop has been closed to accommodate the widening of the Southland Drive and Deerfoot Trail interchange.

Hole 13 has been rebuilt with more variety to the tee box lengths and a more receptive greens complex. While hole 14 has been shortened to a long par 4. The course will return to 18-hole play on May 17.

The new holes are exciting and strategically interesting golf for avid golfers looking to test their skills. For recreational players simply looking to have fun or improve their skills, the new tee options emphasis player enjoyment over excessive difficulty, making it easier and more rewarding to play.

The City is proud to offer affordable golfing opportunities, with seven municipal golf courses at five locations throughout the city. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, there is a course to suit your ability.
