City of Calgary postpones additional Street Sweeping operations on Friday, April 22, 2022

On Friday April 22, 2022 The City will postpone some previously scheduled residential street sweeping operations as crews continue responding to the recent snow event in these areas. The recent snowfall in this area has required equipment and resources to be diverted from normal sweeping operations. Additional Sweeping that was scheduled for the communities of Hidden Valley (North portion), Cityscape North, Bowness (West Portion), Scenic Bow, Thorncliffe West, and North Haven Upper will be rescheduled to June 2022.

Sweeping in Bankview, Fairview, Aspen Woods (West portion), Evergreen (West of 24 Street) and Forest Lawn (North Portion) will proceed as scheduled on Friday, April 22, 2022.

Citywide sweeping is expected to resume as scheduled on Monday, April 25, 2022.

Community parking bans will be in place from 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Citizens can find out when their street is scheduled for sweeping by visiting Calgary.ca/sweep and using our address lookup or signing up for notifications. Sweeping that is rescheduled due to the weather will be scheduled to a later date in June 2022. We encourage citizens to sign up for street sweeping notifications at Calgary.ca/sweep.
