Getting around

Calgary Transit

Buses, CTrains, and On Demand will be operating on a Sunday level of service on Monday, May 22.

From Saturday, May 20 until Monday, May 22 all downtown stations will be closed – from Sunalta to Bridgeland/Memorial on the Blue Line, and from Sunnyside to 39 Avenue on the Red Line.

7 Avenue will be closed to both train and bus traffic during this time to allow for required maintenance and utility work, so articulated shuttle buses will replace train service through the downtown area, using standard parallel routing along both 6 Ave and 9 Ave. Note: buses will replace Blue Line service between Bridgeland/Memorial and Westbrook stations, there will be a separate Blue Line shuttle for travel to Sunalta Station.

Maps and full route information for this weekend’s bus and CTrain detours can be found at calgarytransit.com/CTrain-service.
