Charges laid in online stolen property investigation

We have charged four individuals in connection with a break and enter and trafficking of stolen property investigation that led to the seizure of stolen goods, drugs and a firearm.

In early April 2026, members of the Calgary Police Service Online Stolen Property (OSP) Team began an investigation after identifying stolen merchandise being advertised for sale on Facebook Marketplace. The items were believed to be connected to a recent break and enter. As the investigation progressed, officers identified a residence in the 0-100 block of Martin Crossing Bay NE as being associated with the suspected trafficking of stolen property.

On Thursday, April 15, 2026, we executed a search warrant at the residence. During the search, investigators recovered:

  • Various stolen items
  • A pistolgrip shotgun
  • 143 grams of fentanyl
  • 3.6 grams of methamphetamine
  • 3.4 grams of psilocybin
  • Drug trafficking paraphernalia

As a result, charges have been laid against four individuals.

Brittany Nicole LALONDE, 40, has been charged with:

  • Two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • One count of possession of a controlled substance

She will next appear in court on Friday, May 22, 2026.

Andrew Warren ATKINS, 39, has been charged with:

  • Two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • One count of possession of a controlled substance

He will next appear in court on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

Kimberly Grace MIELKE, 28, was arrested for 11 outstanding warrants and has been charged with one count of failure to comply with conditions of a release order. She will next appear in court on Thursday, April 30, 2026.

Aaron FLYNN, 39, was arrested for 12 outstanding warrants. He will next appear in court on Monday, May 25, 2026.
