Canada Day holiday hours of operation

We're adjusting our hours of operation for Canada Day on Saturday, July 1, 2023

Canada Day celebrations

Calgarians and visitors are invited downtown on July 1 for a full day of Canada Day festivities! This year’s free and family-friendly celebration features an Indigenous showcase and powwow, live music and will end with a fireworks show to light up the sky above Stampede Park.

Events will take place at Fort Calgary, St. Patrick’s Island, Olympic Plaza, Municipal Building Atrium and several other downtown locations. The main stage evening show at Fort Calgary will include performances by Dear Rouge, William Prince and headliner act The Funk Hunters, with a musical set that includes on-stage special effects.

With so many attractions and activities to choose from, you can plan your day using the event schedule and interactive Canada Day map at calgary.ca/CanadaDay.
