Calgary Transit offering discounted monthly passes for summer
As Calgarians are heading into what is sure to be a great summer in the city, Calgary Transit is offering discounted monthly passes for August and September 2022. Both adult and youth monthly passes will be $56, which is a 50 per cent discount on regular adult monthly passes, and a 30 per cent discount on youth passes.
The City of Calgary has a ton of activities that you can take part in, and that you can get to easily on transit:
- There’s a huge selection of free activities for your family to take part in throughout the city. You can find them at www.calgary.ca/free, and plan your trip at www.calgarytransit.com
- Did you know we offer cemetery tours? You can learn about the ordinary folks who did extraordinary things on one of our cemetery tours held on weekends throughout the summer, all within walking distance of Erlton Stampede Station. - Close to Erlton Stampede Station, Reader Rock Garden is one of Calgary’s most unique cultural landscapes and the first Legacy Park to open. Its historical flower and rock garden is a must see.
- With open lawn spaces, picnic areas, a playground, rain garden and unique sculptural elements, the recently redeveloped Jack Long Park in Inglewood is a great place to spend a summer day. The park is served by several bus routes, so you’ll have no problem getting there for your visit.
With so many opportunities in Calgary to participate in activities and events, transit is a great way to make your way around the community and beyond.
