Calgary Police Service launches Community Safety Dashboard
To help Calgarians stay informed about information related to crime and disorder trends in their communities, the Calgary Police Service has made improvements to our publicly available crime reports.
The CPS Corporate Data and Analytics Unit has developed an interactive Community Safety Dashboard that allows the public to access community crime and disorder statistics more easily. The dashboard provides statistics dating back to 2018 and allows users to filter the data by community, City of Calgary ward or Calgary Police Service district.*
*Note: domestic violence data has been included in the dashboard at the district and ward levels only, in the interest of privacy.
The data in the dashboard will be updated monthly.
In keeping with Statistics Canada reporting numbers, and in keeping with the standard approach used by most police agencies, the crime counts included in the dashboard are based on the most serious violation per incident.
The dashboard is available for viewing on the Calgary Police Service Statistical Reports page.
