Calgary man charged in voyeurism incident
We have charged a man who is believed to be responsible for intentionally filming young girls and women without their consent at a mall in the city’s southeast.
On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at approximately 5:20 p.m., police were called for reports of a man who was seen using a cellphone to film young girls and women without their knowledge or consent at Southcentre Mall, located at 100 Anderson Road S.E.
After speaking with a complainant who witnessed the man filming her, and reviewing CCTV footage, police were able to identify the man, who could not be immediately located.
On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, a search warrant was executed in the 400 block of Marquis Lane S.E., resulting in the seizure of various electronics containing child pornography material. The suspect was arrested without incident.
As a result, Jeffrey Robert WILLIAMSON, 51, is charged with one count each of voyeurism, possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography.
WILLIAMSON is scheduled to next appear in court on Thursday, July 17, 2025.
