Calgary Awards Nominations closing Feb. 1

Time is running out to nominate outstanding individuals and organizations who make Calgary a better place to live. Nominations for the 2026 Calgary Awards close on Sunday, Feb. 1.

The Calgary Awards celebrate exceptional Calgarians whose leadership, service, innovation and dedication strengthen our communities and inspire others. Award categories recognize contributions across a wide range of areas, including community service, arts and culture, sports and recreation, education, business, environmental stewardship and public service.

“Calgary is built on the dedication of people who go above and beyond to support others and improve our city,” says Mayor Jeromy Farkas. "The Calgary Awards are an opportunity to recognize those efforts and say thank you to the people who make a meaningful difference every day.”

Anyone can submit a nomination, including community members, colleagues, friends or family.

Nominations must be received by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1.
