Bank robbery - seeking public assistance

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to identify a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, a man walked into the ATB at 2555 32 St. N.E., and passed a note to the teller that demanded cash. Once he obtained an undisclosed amount of money, he took the note back and left the bank.

The suspect is a black male, 20 to 30 years old, approximately 5’7” tall, with a medium build. During the robbery he was wearing a black shirt, black backpack, one black glove on his right hand, sunglasses and a camouflage-coloured ball cap.

The CPS is releasing several photos of the suspect captured during the robbery, as well as shortly after the offence where he can be seen without the ball cap and sunglasses. These photos are available on The City of Calgary Newsroom.
