Arrest of James PARENT

As a result of a Canada-wide warrant, James Alexander PARENT was arrested by the Calgary Police Service on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016, in a downtown area of Calgary. The warrant was issued on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016 by Correctional Services of Canada to suspend PARENT’s statutory release.

The CPS has worked closely with Correctional Services of Canada throughout this investigation. The CPS is unable to release any further information in relation to this matter and all further questions must be directed to Correctional Services of Canada.
