Additional charges laid in ‘CanadaCreep’ investigation

The Calgary Police Service has laid additional charges in relation to the ‘CanadaCreep’ voyeurism investigation.

Last week, Jeffrey Robert WILLIAMSON, 42, of Calgary, was charged with voyeurism-related offences. The investigation also led to the seizure of a number of electronic devices belonging to WILLIAMSON that contained multiple terabytes of data. Investigators began reviewing the data and found evidence of child pornography.

WILLIAMSON was re-arrested on Friday, June 16, 2017, and was charged today, Saturday, June 17, 2017, with possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography.

He is next scheduled to appear in court on Friday, June 23, 2017.

No further comment will be available from police as the investigation is ongoing and is in its early stages.
