23 charges laid in stolen-merchandise trafficking investigation

A man has been charged following an investigation into the trafficking and sale of stolen high-end merchandise from a Calgary retail store.

On Tuesday, March 10, 2026, Lululemon security notified police that an individual was selling stolen merchandise on Facebook Marketplace for roughly half the original price.

As the investigation progressed, officers identified the individual and executed a search warrant at his residence on Saturday, March 28, 2026. During the search, officers seized new Lululemon clothing, a significant number of forged identity documents and 17 pieces of stolen mail.

As a result, Tyler Anthony CHASSE, 23, of Calgary, is charged with 23 offences, including:

·         One count of possession of stolen property

·         One count of trafficking stolen property

·         One count of possession of proceeds of crime

·         Two counts of possession of stolen mail

·         18 counts of possession of forged documents

CHASSE is scheduled to next appear in court on Friday, April 10, 2026.
