2025 General Election – Remaining councillor and school board trustee ballots count

This morning, the remaining councillor ballots cast during the Advance Vote at institutional voting stations (care facilities and shelters) and by special (mail-in) ballot will be counted, starting at approximately 10:30 a.m., following required set-up of ballot boxes. Unofficial results will be reported online at electionscalgary.ca/2025results, when available.

School board trustee councillor ballots cast during the Advance Vote at institutional voting stations (care facilities and shelters) and by special (mail-in) ballot will be counted will follow, starting at approximately 2:30 p.m.

Unofficial results for all contests (mayor, councillor and school board trustees) are expected to be available online the evening of Oct. 21. Official results will be available online at Elections Calgary’s website at 12 p.m. (noon) on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025.

The next ballot count update will be approximately 3 p.m. or at the conclusion of the councillor ballot count.

Elections Calgary is a division of the City Clerk’s Office responsible for independently and impartially administering the Returning Officer’s accountabilities in General Elections, by-elections and votes of the electors on behalf of The City of Calgary, the Calgary Board of Education and the Calgary Catholic School District.
