Victim identified in Tuxedo Park homicide investigation

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has completed its autopsy on a man who died after being brought into the Peter Lougheed Centre late Sunday night.

The man was brought to the hospital around 11:59 p.m., on Sunday, April 30, 2017. He had life-threatening injuries and later died. After speaking to the person who brought in the man, police determined that he received his injuries somewhere in Tuxedo. Investigators now believe the incident occurred near the intersection of 29 Avenue and 2 Street N.E.

Investigators do not believe the incident to be random.

The victim has been identified as Timothy Albert VOYTILLA, 44, of Calgary. Police are now investigating this death as a homicide.
