Taradale suspicious death deemed homicide

Following an autopsy by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, a suspicious death that occurred earlier this week in the community of Taradale has been determined to be a homicide.

At approximately 11:50 p.m., on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, police were called to the 200 block of Taracove Road N.E., for reports of a vehicle collision and a man in medical distress who later died at the scene.

The victim has been identified as Rishabh SAINI, 23, of Calgary. He died as a result of a shooting.

Investigators believe this was targeted attack.
