Seeking public assistance in relation to indecent act

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance in identifying a man responsible for an indecent act over the weekend.

At approximately 8:30 p.m., on Saturday, April 16, 2016, two girls aged 12 and 15 were walking near the intersection of Catalina Boulevard and Laguna Way N.E., when they noticed a man staring at them. The man then exposed himself to the youths and began to walk towards them. The girls ran to their nearby home and told their parents, who in turn called police.

Officers circulated the area but were unable to locate the offender.

The suspect is described as an East Indian man, in his early 20s, approximately 5’8” tall, wearing a denim jacket, green shirt with a logo and dark-blue jeans. He was also wearing a white baseball cap.
