Seeking Public Assistance - Theft of Veteran Memorial

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance for information relating to the theft of a veteran memorial statue.

Sometime between the evening hours of Thursday, June 25, 2015, and the morning of Friday, June 26, 2015, unknown culprit(s) entered the Mountain View Funeral Home, located at 1515 100 Street S.E., and stole a large bronze monument from the Veteran Honor Gardens. 

Due to the size and weight of the monument, it is believed that there were multiple people involved, and they used some sort of vehicle to remove the monument.

Anyone who has seen the monument, or has any information regarding this event is asked to call Crime Stoppers, Calgary Police Service at 403-266-1234, or Constable Beierbach in District 4 at 403-428-6400.
