Road closures due to falling debris

Earlier today the Calgary Police Service, Calgary Fire Department and The City of Calgary Safety Response Unit responded to an incident involving fallen debris due to high winds.

The following roads will remain closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic until the area is rendered safe.

• 1 Street S.W. between 5 Avenue and 8 Avenue
• 6 Avenue S.W. between Centre Street and 2 Street West
• 7 Avenue S.W. is closed to all pedestrian traffic between Centre Street and 2 Street West

These closures are expected to be in place during the morning commute.
