UPDATE #2 - Road closures and lane restrictions for Calgary - May 2, 2012

The speed limit on eastbound Crowchild Trail from Stoney Trail to Nose Hill Drive N.W. will be reduced to 60 km/h every Monday to Friday until further notice for LRT construction.

 

The speed limit on westbound Crowchild Trail at Stoney Trail will be reduced to 60 km/h from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily every Monday to Friday until further notice for LRT construction.

 

Eastbound Bowness Road N.W. will be reduced to one lane at 16 Avenue N.W. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 3 for bridge work.

 

Westbound Bowness Road N.W. will be reduced to one lane at 16 Avenue N.W. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, May 4 for bridge work.

 

One lane will be closed on westbound John Laurie Boulevard N.W. at Nose Hill Drive N.W. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 3 for street light installation.

Spruce Drive will be reduced to one lane in each direction north of Bow Trail S.W. at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 3 until 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 5 for utility installation. This work is weather dependent.

 

Ogden Road S.E. is closed between Bonnybrook Road and 38 Avenue S.E. due to a fire at Calgary Metal Recycling. Only local traffic access will be permitted. This closure will remain in effect until further notice.

 

4 Avenue S.E. will be reduced to three lanes between 3 Street S.E. and Macleod Trail from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 3 for road surveying work.

The left-hand lane on westbound Bow Trail between 29 Street and 32 Street S.W. will be closed on Thursday, May 3 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for fence installation.
