Road closures and lane restrictions for Calgary - May 15, 2012

There will be left lane closures on Anderson Road and Acadia Drive S.E. in all directions from Tuesday, May 15 until Friday, May 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. The speed limit will be reduced to 60 km/h during this time.

 

The left lane on the dual southbound to eastbound left turn from Macleod Trail to 194 Avenue S.E. will be closed from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16. 

 

The eastbound left lane on 194 Avenue S.E. east of Macleod Trail will be closed from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16. The westbound to southbound left turn bay will also be closed. Traffic will be directed to the southbound left turn.  Calgary Police Service will be on site to direct and monitor traffic as required.  These closures are for traffic signal relocation and upcoming utility work.

 

The exit ramp from northbound Macleod Trail to eastbound 194 Avenue S.E. will be closed from 7 a.m. Wednesday, May 16 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 18. Traffic will be detoured around the island to 194 Avenue S.E. The speed limit will be reduced to 60 km/h and the right lane will be closed on northbound Macleod Trail, south of the intersection for utility work.

 

Eastbound 6 Avenue S.E. will be closed between 4 Street and 3 Street S.E. starting at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16 until 6 p.m. on Friday, June 15 for utility work.

 

10 Avenue S.W. will be closed between 4 Street and 5 Street S.W. on Saturday, May 19 from 6 a.m. to midnight. The far left lane of 4 Street S.W. will also be closed between 10 Avenue and the alley during this time for building construction.

 

Varsity Drive N.W. is closed at 40 Street N.W. effective immediately until Wednesday, May16 at 6 p.m. for emergency watermain repairs.
