Garage Fire in Oakridge

At approximately 6:30 this morning, Calgary Fire crews responded to reports of a building fire on Oakmount Way SW. Crews encountered fire coming from an attached garage. No one was home at the time of the fire and damage was contained to the garage. No vehicles were in the garage and it was reported that the house is up for sale and has been empty for some time. Cause of the fire is currently under investigation. There were no injuries at this incident.
