February is Family Month at the Leisure Centres!

Calgary - Each week there is a family-oriented activity, free with regular admission.

 

Date: Sunday, February 7    
Time: 9 – 11 a.m.

As a family, partake in a pool sized scavenger hunt! Small deck games and activities for all the little ones as well! Want to stay dry? Free bonus activities are in the lobby too. (Regular admission applies to access the pool area.)

 

Date: Wednesday, February 17
Time: 6:45 - 8:15 p.m.

Lace up your skates, slap on the helmet and hit the ice with your family for a Family Skate Night at Southland Leisure Centre! Regular admission applies for any on ice activity. Free family-based activities and games will be present in the arena lobby as well! Get your photo with an Olympic torch as we host Ron Story, a Calgarian torch relay bearer for the 2010 Winter games.

Date: Sunday, February 21 and 28   
Time: 9 – 11 a.m.

Jump in the pool during Family Swim time and have some quality time with your family! Other family-based activities will be available during the morning. (Regular admission applies to access the pool area.)

 

When: Every Wednesday - 30% family Discount      
Time: 6 - 8 p.m.

Come join other families in the Waterpark. Have fun with our leaders playing games and participating in a variety of family focused activities for all ages in the pool and the Safari Splash Zone. Time: 2 - 3:30 p.m.

Explore the jungles at Village Square Leisure Centre. Be prepared to get your family together for a fun time with surprising adventures. Great prizes for families. Pre-registration is required call 403-268-3800 with course code #258350.

 

When: Wednesday, February 10       
Time: 7 - 8:30 p.m.

Come in out of the cold and enjoy skating with your family. Free hot chocolate and activities. Bring your skates and helmets or Village Square Leisure Centre will have some loaner skates and helmets available on a first come first served basis.

 

When: Wednesday, February 17      
Time: 6 - 8 p.m.

Enjoy a night of fun with your family. Participate in games, face painting, try your creativity with some arts and crafts.

When: Wednesday, February 24     
Time: 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
