Calgary road closures and lane restrictions for October 30, 2012

Calgary, AB – October 30, 2012 For immediate release

Southeast

50 Avenue S.E., east of 25 Street S.E., will be reduced to one lane in both directions from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30, for emergency repairs to the CN rail line. Motorists should obey all traffic signs and personnel. Temporary full closures will be necessary to complete this work.

Southwest

The left lane on westbound Bow Trail east of Crowchild Trail will be closed from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, for work related to the Bow Trail bridge re-hab project.

Northwest

There will be daily, various lane closures on Shaganappi Trail between Northland Drive and John Laurie Boulevard due to the widening of Shaganappi Trail.

There will be daily, various lane closures on 16 Avenue N.W. between Bowness Road and Shaganappi Trail N.W. due to ongoing 16 Avenue bridge rehabilitation work.
