Calgary road closures and lane restrictions for October 24, 2012

Calgary, AB – October 24, 2012 For immediate release
Southwest
Northbound 1 Street S.W., between 6 Avenue and 7 Avenue S.W., will be reduced to one from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, for building maintenance.
1 Street S.W., between 6 Avenue and 7 Avenue S.W., will be reduced to single lane traffic in both directions from 7 p.m. Thursday, October 25, to 6 a.m. Friday, October 26, for building construction.
Westbound Bow Trail, east of Crowchild Trail, will be reduced to one lane from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, October 25, for work related to the Bow Trail bridge rehab project. The two left lanes will be closed first, switching to the two right lanes closed midday. Access to westbound Bow Trail at Crowchild Trail exit will be maintained at all times.
Southeast
The southbound right lane on Blackfoot Trail S.E., north of Glenmore Trail, will be closed from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, October 25, to allow for traffic sign structure work. The speed limit will be lowered to 60 km/h during construction.
Westbound Glenmore Trail, west of 30 Street S.E., will be reduced to 30 km/h from 5 a.m. Thursday, October 25, to 2 p.m. Saturday, October 27, for CP Rail to complete railway crossing repairs.
Northwest
19 Street N.W., between 20 Avenue and 22 Avenue N.W., has been reduced to one lane in both directions until 6 p.m. Friday, October 26, because of an emergency utility repair.
