Calgary Fire Department Responding to 2 Alarm House Fire

 

At approximately 12:05 this afternoon, Calgary Fire Department crews were called for reports of a possible house fire in the 100 block of New Brighton Glen SE.

 

Fire crews arrived to find a two story single family home with flames showing and immediately called in a second alarm for additional resources. The fire is now under control, and crews remain on scene monitoring for hot spots. Some heat damage was caused to neighbouring homes on both sides.

 

One person had escaped the home before fire crews arrived.

 

No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
