Boy Trapped in Washing Machine

Just before 01:30 this afternoon Calgary Firefighters were called to the 5000 Block of Rundleview Road NE. for the rescue of a boy trapped in a washing machine. The 13 year old boy tried cleverly to hide in the machine during a game of hide and seek. The gamester was almost completely in the machine when he became stuck. His Grandmother attempted to free him but was unsuccessful. Firefighters took a half hour to free the lad who was securely stuck in the top load machine. The child was not injured during his ordeal and did not want his mother to find out about his incident. The washer was also saved during the event.
