Police searching property in connection with homicide investigation

The Calgary Police Service, with support from the RCMP, is currently conducting an extensive search in connection with the disappearance of Adam YOUNG, which is believed to be a homicide.

At approximately 10 p.m., on Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, Adam Stewart YOUNG, 35, was last seen leaving his residence, located in the 200 block of 11 Avenue S.E. He has not been seen or heard from since.

In late 2017, police requested the public’s assistance to locate YOUNG. Based on information obtained during this ongoing investigation, police have determined that there is a strong probability of foul play and are investigating YOUNG’s disappearance as a homicide.

Police are on site at a property located east of Highway 2 at 338 Avenue and 112 Street S.E.

Search warrants are being executed in an effort to recover evidence related to the investigation. This extensive search is using a variety of skilled resources and equipment. CPS anticipate being on the property for a lengthy duration.
