Police investigating shooting in Tuxedo Park

The Calgary Police Service is investigating a shooting that occurred earlier this evening in the community of Tuxedo Park.

At approximately 5 p.m., on Sunday, May 7, 2017, emergency crews were called to the 2900 block of Centre Street N, where they found a man with injuries consistent with those of a shooting.

A man was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition. He has since been upgraded to stable.

The shooting is not believed to have been random.

The investigation is ongoing and no additional information is available at this time.
