Police investigating reports of a shooting

At approximately 4:40 p.m., on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, police were called to the neighbourhood of Huntington Hills for reports of possible shots fired. Officers are currently on scene and are working to validate the initial report.

No injuries have been reported.

At this time, police advise area residents to stay inside and shelter in their basements. The general public is advised to avoid the community until the incident is resolved.

The investigation is ongoing and more details will be released once they become available.
