Police ask for help to locate missing woman and child

UPDATE: This case is now being treated as a homicide investigation.

The Calgary Police Service is asking for the public’s help to locate a woman and her daughter, who have not been heard from in over a week.

Jasmine LOVETT and Aliyah SANDERSON* live in Cranston and usually have regular contact with their family, but it is believed that no one has heard from them since Tuesday, April 16, 2019. They were reported missing yesterday and investigators have been unable to locate them.

Jasmine is described as being in her mid-20s, 5’4” tall, with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes. Aliyah is almost 2 years old, approximately 3’ tall, with a slim build, brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either Jasmine or Aliyah are asked to contact police by calling 403-266-1234. Tips can also be left anonymously by contacting Crime Stoppers through either of the following methods:
