Ongoing investigation in Pineridge

The Calgary Police Service is currently on scene at a residence in Pineridge for an ongoing investigation.

At approximately 7:30 p.m., today, Sunday, June 12, 2016, police were called to a home in the 200 block of Pinehill Road N.E., to check on the welfare of a woman within the home. Upon police arrival, a woman was taken from the home to a safe place to speak with officers. She does not appear to be injured.

At this time, it is not yet known what may have occurred in the home. Officers are on scene and the investigation continues.
