Fatal motorcycle collision

The Calgary Police Service continues to investigate a fatal motorcycle collision that took place yesterday.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2015, a Suzuki motorcycle was traveling northbound in the 10200 block of 18 Street S.E.

The driver of the motorcycle, a male in his 20s, lost control and went off the road onto the right hand boulevard, strking a light standard.

The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Speed and rider inexperience are considered to be factors.
