CFD frees trapped motorist

Fire crews were called out this afternoon at approximately 1430 hours for reports of a vehicle going off the road and rolling down an embankment. When crews arrived they found the lone occupant of the vehicle trapped inside a Nissan SUV. The vehicle was located down an embankment, approximately 10 meters below the road in North Glenmore Park. Fire Department crews used the hydraulic rescue tools to free the victim. Firefighters carried the victim to the road and passed patient care to the awaiting AHS paramedic unit.
