Media Advisory: HandiBus appreciation event

Media are invited to attend the Calgary HandiBus Foundation’s donor appreciation event on Wednesday, June 21.

The HandiBus Foundation is passionate about ensuring Calgarians with disabilities always have access to safe, caring and respectful transportation. The not-for-profit foundation uses donations from citizens to purchase buses to transport Calgarians with disabilities.

HandiBus will thank several donors at the event. One donor, who lost her husband about nine years ago, recently donated $90,000 to buy a bus as a way of giving back to honour her husband’s memory.
