LOCATED: Wanted on Warrants - Chase SPENCE

A man sought on warrants for the stabbing of a woman and a man in December has been located and arrested.

At approximately 10 a.m., on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, police were called to the Sheldon Chumir Centre, located at 1213 4 St. S.W., for reports that a man had arrived in medical distress. A short time later, a woman entered the urgent care centre with serious injuries believed to be related to the same incident. The male victim was transported to hospital in serious condition, while the female victim was determined to be in stable condition. Both have since been released from medical care.

Police believe the incident occurred in a detached garage behind a residence in the 500 block of 14 Avenue S.W., and that the attacker and the victims were known to each other.

On Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, the Calgary Police Service District 1 Beat Team located Chase Alexander SPENCE in the downtown area. He was arrested on charges of aggravated assault as well as numerous breaches of conditions.
