Fatal collision - Stoney Trail & 88 Street S.E.

The Calgary Police Service Traffic Section is investigating a fatal collision that took place this evening.

At approximately 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017, officers responded to the intersection of Stoney Trail and 88 Street S.E. after reports of a collision involving two vehicles. At this time one person has been pronounced deceased and another is in serious but stable condition. 

The following road closures are in place:

• Eastbound Highway 22x, east of Stoney Trail
• Westbound Highway 22x at 104 Street
