Early Evening Motor Vehicle Collision Sends Woman To Hospital

A early evening motor vehicle collision has sent a woman to an area hospital . The collision on Highway 22X and Range Road 285 involved three vehicles. The  50 year old female driver of one of the vehicles was extricated by crews from the Calgary Fire Department  using hydraulic extrication equipment and was subsequently transported via Stars Air Ambulance to an area hospital in life threatening condition. No other motorists were transported from the scene. Highway 22X remains closed at this time while the RCMP conduct their investigation.
