On Friday, March 11, 2016, officers with the District 5 Operations Team began an operation that focused on a home in the 3500 block of Catalina Boulevard N.E., in response to an unusual amount of comings and goings from the address.

A $25,000 Rolex watch stolen from a break and enter outside of Calgary was also recovered.

A few hours later, another traffic stop was conducted on a person who was seen leaving the home. The woman was arrested without incident. Inside the car officers located marijuana, methamphetamine and GHB. Also located was bear spray and a large quantity of jewelry, taken from the same break and enter outside of Calgary.

As part of the investigation, officers obtained a search warrant for the home on Catalina Boulevard and a storage locker where they seized a 12-gauge pistol-grip shotgun and ammunition, along with a collapsible baton.
